  1. Okay, I was too quick with posting this. The WHMCS support replied to me personally (on a sunday!) within minutes and removed the IP checks for the development license. It's all fine now. Great support on this!
  2. I have a problem with the development license. My setup on my local macbook uses MAMP Pro to host the local dev setup of WHMCS. The IP of the server changes depending on the office I work in (we have 2 separate office with different subnets, i.e. 192.168.10.x and 192.168.11.x) served via DHCP automatically, so the IP changes from day to day. When I try to reissue the license I get an error: "This license key is not allowed to be reissued“. I can’t use the local IP (i.e. 127.0.0.1 or ::1) as this does create an error 500 with AJAX post requests in WHMCS. I testes this intensively and using a real IP like 192.168.x.x the error does not come up. With the usage of static, real Ips the license error comes up. I would have to reissue the license everytime I switch offices, which can happen multiple times a day. I understand that WHMCS has to fight piracy, but their license system is one of the most annoying things I've seen in software protection in a long time. What to do? How does everyone handle WHMCS development like this?
  3. Hello all, we're in the process of migrating our old Confixx servers to LiveConfig, where domains are assigned to hosting packages/contracts. I am trying out WHMCS as a Webfakt replacement to manage our hosting and domain billing needs, but I have yet to find a way to have multiple domains assigned to a clients hosting package. How does one have multiple hosting accounts for one client and the clients domains to these accounts (but only once for each domain)? Has anyone here actually found a way to do this with WHMCS? Any idea of an approach to do this with a custom addon to link domains to hosting accounts and removing the primary domain? Best, Sebastian
  4. I am seeing this as well and have been trying to fix it with support without success so far. They came up with a lot of things to check on the server, which we did (using nginx and tried with Apache/mod_php, checked curl etc.) and nothing helped. We tried WHMCS on 6 other hosting accounts actually and still got the same error after login. What needs to be done to remove that damn popup?
