  1. If you are using WordPress, try checking out UserPress. http://www.userpress.org Full disclosure: I created UserPress.
  2. When a customer selects a VPS/Dedicated server the order form displays the following fields: Hostname: eg. server1(.yourdomain.com) NS1 Prefix: eg. ns1(.yourdomain.com) NS2 Prefix: eg. ns2(.yourdomain.com) Root Password: *** Is there a way that these fields could be given default values. So hostname would be server1.[followed by the domain defined in the order form] and NS1 and NS2 would use the values defined by the WHMCS admin. Meanwhile, root password would be automatically generated and email to the user. Surely, there must be an existing solution. I've never had to enter this information signing up for a VPS on any other host so I can't imagine why WHMCS would require this info by default.
  3. I'm talking about reselling VPS service plans (as opposed to using a VPS for reselling shared hosting). For example, Digital Ocean and LiquidWeb have APIs that allows can be used for creating and managing droplets/virtual servers via WHMCS client area. But I ant a more comprehensive list of providers that offer some kind of API/white label solution. Any suggestions?
  4. I'm trying to test out Namecheap's API sandbox. My test orders orders go through fine from the WHMCS side, but nothing shows up on my Namecheap dashboard. Also, the Namecheap sandbox dashboard navbar is missing for some reason. And nobody from Namecheap has responded to my emails. Despite all of that, I'd like to use Namecheap and still want to get this thing working. Does anyone else use Namecheap API for domain registrations? If so, could you offer some advice or insight into how this is supposed to work? P.S. During WHMCS checkout, I'm able to check if a particular domains is available for registration, so I guess the API must be doing something.
  5. How would a reseller go about migrating users to new servers if they ever decide to leave Digital Ocean?
  6. For example, I'd like to have a page that anew account (rather than having the form included on the page with the login form). How could I go about modifying my order form templates to create a new screens in the order/checkout process?
  7. My first priority is to have customers make recurring payments automatically. Secondly, I imagine that customers would want the convenience if having their credit card stored with their user account so they don't have to re-enter their CC when they buy additional services. But I'm not comfortable with the security issues. Thoughts?
  8. I'm trying to add a sidebar to my order form pages, but I don't want to modify each template file individually. Is there some kind of container template that I could modify that would affect all order form related pages?
  9. Thanks, changing the default order form resolved the issue. P.S. I was a little bit thrown off when you cited the template I'm using even though I didn't mention it. But I appreciate that you went out of your way to investigate this issue (by using my username as a clue). P.P.S. It was my username right--you're not a psychic or something are you?
  10. I created a new orderform template folder based upon the WebCart 2.0 Template. However, I am am unable to modify my checkout page. No matter what I do to the viewcart.tpl file the checkout page remains unchanged. (I have tried refreshing the page, adding/removing items...to no avail). Meanwhile, my modification to the rest of the TPL files work just fine. I would appreciate some assistance.
  11. I don't get it. How exactly is Ajax Cart supposed to be used? The Product Group settings page seems to be the only place that references Ajax Cart, but I can't use Ajax Cart with Products Groups.
  12. The order form templates included with WHMCS are awful. Where can I find something that looks modern and attractive? I would prefer a standable order form template package, but I don't mind paying for a more comprehensive theme with extraneous elements (WordPress, lading page, etc.).
  13. When my customers sign up for web hosting I want them to 1) be able to have WordPress installed at checkout 2) choose from a list of plugins they'd like to have pre-installed. Is there a pre-existing solution for this? If not, how difficult would it be to create one?
