  1. Hi all, I had a mistake on my cron line. Following Chris suggestion and Hostgator information, finally I managed to get the cron work with this: /opt/php56/bin/php -q /home/[username]/public_html/[whmcs_folder]/crons/cron.php For those hosting on Hostgator and using WHMCS 7, this is the solution for the cron task issue. You need to append /opt/php56/bin/ to the cron in order to force the it to use the right PHP and ionCube versions. Thank you Chris for your advice.
  2. Hi Chris, I tried your suggestion with no luck. Here's my cron line: /opt/php56/lib/php -q /home/[username]/public_html/[whmcs_folder]/crons/cron.php (please tell me if there's something wrong with it). Hostgator Support told me today: And I get two emails: First one: Second one: Any suggestion? Thank you very much.
  3. IamDefiler, I am at the same point that you. Hostgator Support swears I'm using PHP 5.6 / ionCube 6 and that the issue actually is in the cron script. On the other side, WHMCS says that Hostgator has not the right version of ionCube installed. I'm completely lost. Did you manage to solve this? Thank you.
  4. Hello, I would really appreciate some piece of advice with this case. I'm selling domains using ResellerClub module and I really don't know how to manage renewal notifications sent by email. I have set up WHMCS to create domain renewal Invoices 30 days before the Due Date (usually 7 days before Expiry Date). That action of course sends the corresponding notification to the client. He also receives one Invoice Unpaid Reminder a week later. Then, under Automation Settings > Domain Reminder Settings, I set up three Renewal Notices (25 - 15 - 7 days before the Due Date). There's even more because ResellerClub sends on their own three compulsory emails to registrant (my client) 30 and 7 days before Expiry Date and one more on expiration. So at last we have this scenario. Suppose we have 'domain.com' that expires on 30-July (due date on 23-July): 23-June (30 days before Due Date): Invoice created. Notification sent by WHMCS. 28-June (25 days before Due Date): First Renewal Notice sent by WHMCS. 30-June (7 days after invoice creation): Invoice Unpaid Reminder sent by WHMCS. 30-June (30 days before Expiry Date): First compulsory Renewal Reminder sent by ResellerClub 08-July (15 days before Due Date): Second Renewal Notice sent by WHMCS. 16-July (7 days before Due Date): Third Renewal Notice sent by WHMCS. 23-July (7 days before Expiry Date): Second compulsory Renewal Reminder sent by ResellerClub 30-July (Expiration Date): Third compulsory email (Expired Domain Notification) sent by ResellerClub So... there are 8 notifications sent to the client, not even mention Invoices Overdue Reminders. They are a lot. I can't disable ResellerClub mandatory reminders (not available). I can't remove Invoice notifications for obvious reasons (they also affect Packages, etc). So... should I remove ALL Domain Renewal notifications under Automation Settings > Domain Reminder Settings? That would reduce emails from 8 to 5 at least. I'm not sure about doing that, don't know why. Any suggestions? Thank a lot.
