  1. I get bad characters in the client page--an A with an accent instead of spaces in the header and other places. What's the issue here? This didn't happen with previous versions.
  2. Ah, so that's what the patch was all about. I installed it as soon as it came out of course.
  3. In the last few weeks, I have had three attempts to do a php insertion into the subject line of a WHMCS ticket. Is this a known security issue that people are attempting to exploit, or just knocking on the door?
  4. Suppose I have a customer who has already registered a domain through another of my interfaces (so I don't need to "transfer" him in) and I just want to add the management of this domain to his account, without generating an order. How do I do this? He will be hosting this domain as an addon in his control panel, so there won't be a separate account on the server to import. Rick
  5. Can someone point me to the documentation on this "module". Rick
  6. A couple of times lately I've had Apache problems on the system where WHMCS is itself located, and would like to have been able to mass email all the clients to tell them. Now it seems to me that there oughta be a way to do this. We can have mails submitted to a particular address CRONd into the system via a forward, so perhaps there is a way of submitting a mass email the same way--one that would go to all clients once, not per product. Yes? Rick
  7. One of the upgrade instructions says: "2. If you have made any customisations to the following files, you should delete them from the new files before uploading" Does the word "them" refer to the customizations or the files? If the former, the sentence makes no sense. If the latter, don't you lose changes to the files in the upgrade? Also, I assume that the template files that have been upgraded are on a per template basis, i.e. that I need only worry about my custom templates as I will presumably clobber all the files in the other templates. Rick
  8. For each of two open tickets, WHMCS sent out this morning 11 copies of a ticket reminder to me and to the customer. This seems likely to get me listed as a spammer. Any ideas? Rick
  9. Well, I have the same problem. The information appears to be OK for the registrant, but the enom server rejects it. Can anyone shed any light? Rick
  10. Looking for an opinion here from customizers on how easy it would be to write a registrar (or even a registry) module. I am a programmer, so it's not the skills I'm concerned about, just an opinion on how easy the framework makes this kind of task. Rick
  11. In my case, I am the server owner as well as the host. I don't want to turn register_globals on. One comment in a posting indicated that the necessity to do this would eventually go away. Is there any sight on when this will happen? I need to make a software decision in the next couple of months. Rick
  12. OK, I don't mind having several order forms. I just didn't want a product where all my customers have to face an order form with all products from all divisions. I think it could put people off. Now, when you say that they have to come to the one site, I assume you mean they come in with a query string and can bypass the front page of the central site and proceed to log in/create an account, and not have to wade through a comprehensive list of all products at that stage. Rick
  13. I have several divisions in my company, each potentially with its own need for billing. Can I use whmcs on one site and feed the billing of all there, say with biolling forms on the other sites. I don't want to put all products from all divisions on one page; it would be too confusing. Rick
