Hello Community! Hoping to get some support from the community as I'm pending a ticket reply from WHMCS. We recently updated our WHMCS install from 7.4.1 to 7.4.2. Immediately afterward, we discovered an error that is only affecting our Admin interface: Oops!Something went wrong and we couldn't process your request. Please go back to the previous page and try again.Whoops\Exception\ErrorException: Module 'timezonedb' already loaded in Unknown:0Stack trace:#0 /.../.../public_html/vendor/whmcs/whmcs-foundation/lib/Utility/Error/Run.php(0): WHMCS\Utility\Error\Run->handleError(32, 'Module 'timezon...', 'Unknown', 0)#1 [internal function]: WHMCS\Utility\Error\Run->handleShutdown()#2 {main} Everything worked fine before and there have been no changes to the server or timezonedb. Any thoughts on what would be causing this? Kind regards, Bryce Wisekal

Hello all, I logged in this evening to ask a very similar question. Figured it's a good title, why create a new thread. Same questions as others, looking for feedback on updating from version 5.2.16 to version 5.3.5 (is it safe)? More importantly, is it necessary? Is version 5.2.16 still stable and will increment patches be released for this if there are security issues? I'm trying to decide whether or not I should dedicate the time this weekend to approach this. If it's not a necessary update, then I can prolong it until I've a better schedule. Appreciate your honest opinions.

Hello everyone, Looking for a solution that will help us provide client specific downloads to their accounts. Not looking for the ability to add downloads for products purchased. We are a web design / development company. When completing a project, we want to offer a download in the clients area. This way, we don't have to link the client a Dropbox zip to download. Though I wouldn't even mind that option, if I could add a custom field to profiles and insert a link to dropbox that would be available on their client area anytime they log in. Ideally, I'd like them to download the zip directly from our clients area and easily have reference to it anytime in the future as needed. Is there anything out there, an addon or etc., that is already available and allows this option? Thanks!

Support Ticket Form outside WHMCS Installation
OWMConsulting replied to OWMConsulting's topic in Developer Corner
Hello, Thanks for your thoughts on this but piping will not work with custom fields / options, or am I incorrect? I don't want their custom field details included "in the email" piped to our WHMCS. Perhaps being a little more visual in our explanation will offer better guidance for someone to offer a solution / idea. We are in the middle of creating a landing page for a service we offer to a Theme Forest author's buyers. He refers all his clients to us for developments and currently they submit their details via WHMCS installation, here: http://www.ourwebmedia.com/clients/submitticket.php?step=2&deptid=4 We would like to have a landing page that promotes our services with a little more detail, so we created a landing page, here: http://owmlabs.com/owm/ghostpool.html Currently this landing page is on our staging / testing environment, and will be moving into our live website (ourwebmedia.com) in the coming days when we can complete this form submission. So basically, it would be outside of WHMCS, using a static HTML designed page, but on the same domain as we host our WHMCS installation. We want to avoid using the WHMCS contact page, this way we can have a more focused and aimed landing page. Piping does not allow us to capture these additional details without having them inside the actual email when sent. It's of course an option, but I don't want to take this route. I'd like that information stored inside the system for our use only. Hopefully this sheds a little more light on what we're trying to accomplish. As it stands, WHMCS Support has told us to use "Piping", that for security reasons this is not possible, but there has to be a way we can accomplish this. Though I'd prefer to avoid using "iframe" to do this, it's to our preference that we can embed this outside of WHMCS for use. Unless there is a way that I'm unfamiliar with at this time, to customize an individual contact / submission page? Then I'd be able to customize that individual contact to look like this landing page. That would be a preferred alternative I suppose. Thanks again for your popping in and giving your thoughts. Kind regards, Bryce. -
Hello everyone, Looking for some advice on how to create a contact form outside of WHMCS. Here's a better explanation. Basically, we want to create a landing page for one of our services offered. In this landing page, is a form for contact that we've created which includes are custom fields / options. Instead of using the link / contact form inside of WHMCS, we want to use it outside the WHMCS installation. Looking at the source code, there is a unique token ID given that we don't fully grasp where it's from and without this token, it's not possible to make these submissions work outside of WHMCS. So we're left with having to consider using an iframe and this we'd much prefer to avoid. Is there a way, without piping the email to WHMCS, that we can embed this outside WHMCS? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Kind regards, Bryce.

Hello, We are using WHMCS for some outside-the-box methodology and looking for someone more familiar to help in this department specifically. Likely we could do this ourselves but we're limited for time and would also have to research this further. We just don't have the time available to us right now. So we're hoping to find someone who can offer their hands-on assistance here. Our inquiries include: 1. We don't use "Products" per-say. We use "Quotes". We're a development company for hire. By default, WHMCS allows you to link referrals to the "home site" or the "product" page specifically. In our case, we want the ability to allow our affiliates to link to specific contact forms, this way their referrals can contact us for their development needs. For example, we offer "Customizations / Developments" for various companies and designers that offer premium products and when their buyers require further assistance, they're referred to us. So we'd like the ability to have them use their affiliate link to link directly to the contact form. We've contacted WHMCS support regarding this and were referred here. 2. Offer "unique" and "personalized" affiliate links. We'd like the ability to use either a "username" or "first name" that would replace the "ID" used as a default. For example, we work on Theme Forest, our referral link is: /http://themeforest.net?ref=OurWebMedia 3. Affiliates currently receive a "percentage of all invoices" and we require having a setup for the "first invoice" only and with that payment received the referring account would receive said percentage. We are aware that through "Products" we can do this, setup one time earnings from payments received but we again are not making use of the products so we're limited. We are interested in exploring these possibilities as soon as possible. If you're interested please let us know. We'd be most interested in someone available to do this sooner rather than later. Thanks for your time and consideration on these items. Kind regards, Bryce.

Hello, In our developments of WHMCS, we'll be making a lot of use of the "Quotes". Personally, I don't have the patience to customize the PDF nor time as we're trying to launch relatively soon. I've tried Sparky's PDF Creator but unfortunately I don't like the way his Quote PDF's are displayed, plus there are some issues that we discovered in the most current version of the addon and latest stable version of WHMCS. Due to our time restraints, we would like to simply "remove" the attachment from the email notification sent out to clients when a quote has been created. We'd like to simply link to the "online quote" with no attachment of the Quote PDF file (attachment). Does anyone have a solution on how we can remove this PDF attachment from being sent out with the notification? Thanks for your time and assistance if anyone can offer some advice. Kind regards, Bryce.
