Monthly Orders Report - does it only report valid orders?

For anyone else that has this same question, Liam and Lawrence from the dev and customer support teams answered it for me earlier today: "Only orders that you have accepted (status set to Active) are counted in the report." -
Does the "Monthly Orders" report in WHMCS take fraud and cancelled orders into account (i.e. does it give a true reading of the number of new valid orders)?
