  1. Hi, I am trying to create a WHM package which will be used for SAAS service accounts. So the customer won't need the cPanel login info at all. So I want to disable sending out login greeting email message for this package only (there are other packages that are normal hosting accounts). But I would like to be the only one to receive new client's cPanel login info. Is it possible to set it up like this? Thanks!
  2. What would be the best way to create: 1. Pre-defined Service items with fixed prices? For example: Script installation fee: $50 Troubleshooting fee: $30 Logo design fee: $200 These are one time services, that can be purchased more than once by the same customer. 2. Quote based custom job services: In this case, it's not possible to know the price in advance, because it will be determined on a case by case basis: Template design customization Special logo design ... and so on Is there some kind of quote system for these type of services, so the invoice can be generated from Admin Panel? Thank you! Note: The customer may or may not be a web hosting customer for both 1. and 2. above.
  3. Does anybody has any suggestions about this? Thanks!
  4. Thanks guys for the replies, I am beginning to see the light in WHMCS Just one more thing, at Setup > Product / Services > Edit Product > Module Settings I've learned that you only need to enter the WHM Package Name if you have created the package in WHM. If no package was created in WHM, by entering all the quota info, will it automatically create the packages or are the quota info just for record purpose too?
  5. Thanks for the replay. Then in this case, what would be the purpose of entering IP addresses at Setup > Server > Edit Server in the "Assigned IP Addresses (One per line)" box?
  6. What happens if an account requires dedicated IP is automatically created by WHMCS but there aren't IPs available in the server? Will it be assigned to a shared IP, so it can be changed later? Or, no IP will be assigned at all? For creating accounts using shared IP, how does WHMCS know which IP to use if the account is the very first one? Does it choose randomly any available IP? Is there a way to set some available IPs to be used for dedicated until all of them runs out, and some for shared IP? Thank you.

  8. Hi, I have created 3 hosting packages from my server via WHM. Now, while trying to create products/services in WHMCS, I am confused about Settings > Products / Services > Module Settings I set the following main 2 options Module Name: Cpanel Server Group: Hosting Plans Now, what about the WHM Package Name and all the other quota, limit options? Do I have to repeat everything I have created in WHM packages? If not, how can WHMCS know which package to use for setting up a new account if there are 3 different packages? Thank you.
  9. I see that when I create a new server, it asks to enter "Assigned IP Addresses (One per line). I have 10 IPs in the server, but 3 are reserved for DNS and for the main site, so only have 7 available for new accounts. Should I add all the 10 IPs or only the 7 IPs?
  10. BTW, to avoid confusion, will try to explain giving more details: I have created 3 different plans: 1. Basic: Configurable Option quantity set from 0 to 4 2. Plus: Configurable Option quantity set from 0 to 9 3. Advanced: Configurable Option quantity set from 0 to 19 Because the same Configurable Option has different max quantities per plan, I had to create 3 different Configurable Option Groups. So I would like to know if the customer can still change these options when upgrading/downgrading the hosting plans. I see that Settings > Product/Service > Customized Hosting Plan > Upgrade there is a checkbox option called "Tick this box to allow Upgrading/Downgrading of configurable options" will this do the trick? Or should I create a single configurable option so it can be applied to all different plans in order to work? Thank you.
  11. Let's say I created a Configuration Option by quantity type. The customer selected "3", but later decided to change to "1" or cancel this option one and for all, can this be done easily so it will automatically calculate discount the fee for the upcoming month? Thanks!
