  1. Ok I have a language problem. I work mostly with customers who speak english and french since it is the only 2 languages I can speak. I have some products that I make available to my french speaking customers only and that do not appear on my regular order form in WHMCS on my main site which is in english. These products do not appear because the category is hidden. On another french website that I have, I want to send my french customers to WHMCS through a direct link to one of the product in the french hidden category for them to make an order. I can do that easily with the links that are provided for each product in the product section of WHMCS and everything works fine. BUT, when I send my french customers to WHMCS, I would like to force WHMCS to use the french language in the URL and this is where I have a problem. Exemple: To send a cutomer to a product I can use the following URL : http://www.mysite.com/whmcs/cart.php?a=add&pid=22 I would like to be able to select the language in the URL using a URL like this. http://www.mysite.com/whmcs/cart.php?a=add&pid=22&lang=fr If I add &lang=fr at the end of the URL, I still get the english version of WHMCS coming up on the screen. Since the customers I send there speaks french, they see that they can select themselves french for WHMCS. The problem is that when they do this, WHMCS loose the memory of the product that the customer was ordering, it changes to the french version and show the main order page where the customer can choose among the categories what product he wants to order. Since my french category is hidden the client can not find the french product he wanted to order anymore. It is the reason why I want to force the language in the URL, Like this, my customer will not need to choose the language himself and WHMCS will not loose track of the product that my customer was ordering. I want to keep the french category hidden because I do not want to make these products available to everyone. Only to the people that can see the links on my french website. Is there a way to force the language through the URL ? If yes, HOW ? if not, is there a possibility to see that coming in a futur version ? Thanks.
  2. UK UK Hum ? yes the 51st state of the union ? Lol. Just kidding.
  3. Just make sure it's really a spam. Lol.
  4. These guys at parallels are buying everybody, recently it was Helm and now Modernbill. At least, since they just bought modernbill, they won't buy WHMCS. I hope.
  5. I am sorry but I have to say that I do not understand this kind of thinking and yes it's possible to do good business and provide good service without being "bloodthirsty". It's also true that whmcs sells itself pretty well but they are not without any competitors. When I was looking for a new billing system, I almost bought clientexec and I did not know about whmcs. The decision was takent to buy clientexec and I learned about whmcs by chance a few hours before buying clientexec. Providence was good to me and how many people are still buying some bad pieces of software because they do not know that there is better? Probably a lot because a lot of people are still buying MB or clientexec and even worse (WHM) everyday. I continue to think that it would be very nice to have an affiliate program and if some people do not want to use it, they are not obliged to.
  6. No Akira, it's not the way an affiliate program works. in an affiliate program you don't sell yourself so you can't bump up the price. You just send the customers and get a commission. and concerning this, Are you doing business ? This is the way the world works. There is the reseller program already so, in the reseller program, they sell at a discount price and they are already "handing cash out" for the reseller to be able to make money.
  7. It's funny but when I posted this thread, I though that someone would say that but in fact, I am building an affiliate program web site and I only promote on that site, products that are bringing money in. And by the way, I do not know anybody who gets up in the morning, go to work and tell their boss to keep the money, may be someone working for their boss for free would be very satisfied but not me. So why professionally promote a product for free ? I paid $244.94 to get it. I also have to say that I would gladly recommend whmcs directly to someone else in a one on one conversation without any compensation but business is business and you need to make money if you want to be a philanthropist .
  8. I recently bought a license of whmcs. I justed wanted to tell that it is a great software, it doeseverything I need. Keep up the good work. I saw that there is a reseller program but I did not see any affiliate program. I am not talking about the affiliate feature in whmcs but a program that would allow people to refer customers to whmcs.com through their website. It could be a great thing to do to generate more sales. Thanks.
