  1. I was curious as to what people thought on price anyway. There are certain issues WHMCS may face with facebook connect, because of the way facebook authenticates with severs and facebook, a global setting could prove difficult. It will be interesting to see what they do with this, however until now, i will continue work with the Facebook Connect Module. Based on the current process i am using for login, i should be able to expand the module to include othe social connections / create modules for other social connections.
  2. Hi there, I'm currently working on a Facebook connect module for WHMCS, its nearly complete, should be completed within the week. The current price been arranged with my company is around £2.50pcm. Any opinions on this? Requests for features? Current Features: Link WHMCS account with Facebook, auto login on visiting the login page, login by clicking connect with Facebook on login page. Features in progress: Load picture into users profile (optional) SignUp with Facebook - user information from Facebook used, then rest of information added to complete client sign up.
  3. You can register with Nominet for .uk domains. The application takes a while and a bit of reading to pass the exam, but it's only about their processes for registering / cancelling domains, so you would have to read it anyway. Like m8internet said, putting them into a todo list is a good idea, i know it doesn't give complete automation, but it saves you footing the bill if someone makes an order and doesn't pay.
  4. Just a quick question, what are peoples thoughts on WHMCS / cPanel being part of SOA? SOA (Service Orientated Architecture) being kinda the linking of services within an organization, such as billing, ordering, customer support etc. Linking the processes together to make business more effective and reducing the risks of human error by entering data manually into different applications within an organization. Also saving on the cost of hiring staff to do this work / the cost of fixing any problems that occur due to human error. Would anyone say WHMCS would potentially be an example of SOA? Many Thanks, Ganey.
