  1. Rather silly this. He logged a ticket yesterday. I tried to help and when this did not helped I requested login details to have a look and solve it. This last action was less then 24 hours ago. My guess is, this guy is a bit impatient. Not to be cynical, or to set the wrong support standard, but: last summer I had to wait more then two months before WHMCS came up with a fix for a bug in the software. That was stupid. This is not! Cheerio, Hub
  2. I do get you. Thanks. But this is not what I want. Each downloaded ebook has to have the name of the customer on every 10th page. Cheers, Hub
  3. Thanks, but this does not give me a social drm (watermark) in the ebook ...
  4. Hi, I want to sell in .epub, .mobi and .pdf. Hub
  5. Hi, I want to sell ebooks with social DRM. To do this a hookpoint before downloading the file would be great. But .... Such a hookpoint does not exist. Another way would be generating the file after the order was processed, and made available in the clientarea. Could this be done? Cheers, Hub
  6. Hi! Picture this: you run a software development slash web hosting company. Currently you use WHMCS for your billing and support. But when you start doing some serious development, you will need a bugtracker. Like us. We choose Mantis. Wouldn't it be great if you would be able to export tickets from WHMCS to Mantis? That is why we developped Mantis for WHMCS. The addon exports tickets to the bugtracker in a few clicks. You can even export multiple tickets. Currently we are beta testing the addon. We hope to release it in May. Do you want to join the beta testing? Please sent me a PM. Cheers, Hub
  7. Hi, Please review the info here: http://www.contentpeople.eu/registrar You can use the contact form to send us inquieries. Hub
  8. Hi, We have created such addon. You can use it to register domains with another WHMCS-install, that acts as registrar. Currently we are beta testing. We hope to release this in May. Cheers, Hub
  9. Hi Folks, Just a wee message on our new addon: we published AutoLogin for WHMCS. It is a small addon that enables your customers to login without username and password. They only need an unique key. The addon consists of an addon, one hook and a widget. They generate and insert a secure Login ID that stays working, even if your customer changes his password, More info: http://www.contentpeople.eu/login Sincerely, Hub
  10. Hi! Some domainregistries have a limit of the times you can query the whois-server a day, if you are not a member. I have found a way to solve this, but this means I need to change domainchecker.php. Because the file is encoded by Ioncube, I need to write a new version of domainchecker.php. Has anybody got a clue how to do this? What are the requirements to load the template file, etcetera. Cheers, Hub
  11. Depending on the size of your company you will have to calculate and pay the received VAT once a month or so to the tax man. When working with WHMCS we found that the reporting of received VAT was to minimalistic for us. E.g.: when you create a report for the received tax you do not get totals. You do not get extra info like free accounts or tax exempts. That's why we created Tax for WHMCS, an administrator addon. It is a small plugin that will help you fill in your tax-reports. And it helps to create so called Credit Invoices. When an invoice is generated your company - when you trade in Europe - becomes liable for any taxes on that invoice. If your customer does not pay the bill, or cancel it, you will have to create an Credit Invoice manually. Whithout this you pay the VAT to the tax man, while you have not received it. FEATURES General ✔ Clean WHMCS tabbed interface ✔ Easy to install ✔ Output in E-mail, PDF and HTML. Usage ✔ Detailed info on received VAT ✔ Detailed info on type of service ✔ Fast running addon ✔ Auto creation of Credit Invoices License ✔ Trial license (7 days, incl. support and updates) - FREE ✔ Monthly leased license (incl. support and updates) - 5.00 euro / month (incl. VAT) ✔ Life time license (incl. one year support and updates) - 49.00 euro (incl. VAT) Releasedate v. 1.00: September, 22 2012
  12. Thanks Doram, I will test it tonight. Hub
  13. Hi! I have created a new addon and I need a hand. I want to add pdf reports, but I can not get it to work with the bundled tcpdf. This is what I have: function create_pdf(){ require(ROOTDIR."/includes/tcpdf.php"); require(ROOTDIR."/includes/tcpdf_unicode.php"); $html .= "Blah blah"; $pdf = new TCPDF(PDF_PAGE_ORIENTATION, PDF_UNIT, PDF_PAGE_FORMAT, true, 'UTF-8', false); $pdf->SetAuthor('John'); $pdf->AddPage(); $pdf->writeHTML($html, true, 0); $pdf->Output('somefile.pdf', 'I'); } // end Hope you can help! Hub
  14. Hi! When upgrading to WHMCS 5.1.2. I discovered a problem. The db-connection in third party addons, like mine, halted. So Matt advised me to do something like this: require(ROOTDIR.'/configuration.php'); That did the trick, but I encountered a new problem. Warning: include(templates_c//%%03^035^0357BA4F%%header.tpl.php) [function.include0]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /dir/includes/smarty/Smarty.class.php on line 1258 Warning: include() [function.include0]: Failed opening 'templates_c//%%03^035^0357BA4F%%header.tpl.php' for inclusion (include_path='/opt/share/pear') in /dir/includes/smarty/Smarty.class.php on line 1258 So I googled and discovered that the require statement kills the php-path. After I added php_value include_path ".:/path-to-whmcs-install to the .htaccess file, it started working again. This all happened on WHMCS 5.1.2. But it gives the same error on older versions, like 5.0.3. Can anybody help me to solve this? This happens with several third party addons. Local and remote. I do not mind to add the extra line in .htaccess, but this error should now happen. Cheers, Hub
  15. Hi, I love Whmcs. But I have a problem. When I want to reset the password of a client, I get the error invalid token. How do I solve this? Cheers, Hub
