Bug when using Configurable Options + Product Add on

Recommended Posts

I have a clean install of 8.11 Beta with no mods or customizations installed. Twenty-One theme.

I have a product that uses a couple of Configurable Options (quantity with and without a maximum set) and a Product Add on.

On the product config page, I am  unable to add the Product Add on to the cart. I have checked the box and clicked the green button 'add to cart'

Can anyone else reproduce this or is it just me?

This seems to happen after changing the term from Monthly to another such as Annual and then trying to add the Add on to the cart. I have noticed that if I change the term and then refresh the page, it will add which is something a customer is never going to do.

It seems like maybe something in the Javascript needs to be fixed to allow for this to work automatically without refreshing the page.

Hi @Evolve Web Hosting

I can confirm that case #CORE-18810 is open with our developers in order to have this reviewed for future releases; this isn't a regression in v8.11. Once we resolve cases and push features they are available at our change log, here:

https://changelog.whmcs.com/

The product addon is still added to the shopping cart, but isn't reflected on floating Order Summary.

Thank you for your report and taking part in the v8.11 pre-release testing!
