Hello fellow WHMCS community members and friends,

 

i’m trying to add a new table section on my WHMCS templates specifically for Payment Details so that I can specify and outline the payment details / policy. So far I’ve been successful in creating a tabled version on the template that allows me to show three seperate Collins with three different sets of text relevant that I need to show.

now I’m trying to add the payment summary/and payment terms/refund terms, however I can’t get the table settings correct. I’m hoping someone can provide an example?

I require this to be seperate at the bottom of the invoice and not displayed as a “note” as I want to be able to style this accordingly as well. I know I can use the “notes” section on the invoice, however as I’ve said and specified this is not what I’m wanting to achieve.

      After updating with the most recent stable release (8.30.0), I went through my standard testing process to see if anything is no longer working.   I found that the Login As Owner function no longer works and, instead, updates the url to be (URL + #).  
      Is this something that has already been looked into for correction?  Are there any hot fixes that are suggested?

      Hi,
      I am looking for a way to determine the source of a new invoice. That being is the new invoice generated by a client action, like ordering a service. Or if it simply is generated by billing.
      Testing the InvoiceCreated hook for invoiceID gives us the new invoice number. However it is not possible to check this invoiceID against database tables. This seems to be because the invoice has yet to be finalized. Else we could have checked if the invoiceID was located in both tblorders.invoiceid and tblinvoices.id. Any match on both tables would indicate it was an order, and should there only be a match in tblinvoices.id it would be simply billing.
      Next we have the source variable, there it seems to be mainly autogen being used. I did check the classdoc for Invoice, there we have a runCreationHooks method with a String $source parameter, with 4 possible options: 'adminarea', 'api', 'autogen' or 'clientarea'. Now the whmcs hook InvoiceCreated states that the only values it will return are one of 'adminarea', 'api', 'autogen' or 'clientarea'.
      Does anyone have any tips, or have you perhaps dealt with this issue and found a way?

      We are having a problem with the payment method that is being displayed on invoices after payment has been made. Our customers can choose to pay each invoice by bank transfer, Stripe, cheque/card over phone or Paypal, and they don't always pay the same way. When the customer makes a payment by bank transfer, cheque or by card over the phone, we go to the invoice, 'Add Payment', set the relevant payment method, and record the transaction there. However, after adding the payment, the invoice shows 'PAID' and the Payment Method is frequently different to what you have just entered. There is an additional 'Payment Method' option in the Options tab, which I don't really see the point of. The value that is displayed on the invoice, and that also shows on the payment confirmation email template, seems to be pulled from this additional option. 
      When add a payment and tell the system that it has been paid by Bank Transfer why does it then show, for example, that the Payment Method was Paypal? This is very confusiing and means emails to customers show incorrect information. Could someone clarify if this is working as expected, and why this would be useful?
      I've attached a screenshot. You can see that the transaction shows it was paid by bank transfer, but the payment method shows Paypal. Why?
