Change name of menu item

Recommended Posts

I apologize if this has been asked/answered before.

I looked over the docs, and see using hook where I can add/remove menu items. But what I'm trying to do is actually just rename Store dropdown to Services.

If anyone can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.

for a default menu, you've got two main options...

1, use a hook as you suggest...

use WHMCS\View\Menu\Item as MenuItem;

add_hook('ClientAreaPrimaryNavbar', 1, function (MenuItem $primaryNavbar)
	if (!is_null($primaryNavbar->getChild('Store'))) {

.. this will change "Store" to "Services" in the user's language...

2. use Language Overrides to change the language string for each language you use in WHMCS.

$_LANG['navStore'] = "Services";
