Will WHMCS be removing the forced SSL check icons?

Recommended Posts

Tons of people are asking for this feature to be removed - or at least giving us the option to do so. We are all employing hacks or workarounds to remove this (completely pointless) feature, but we would greatly appreciate the option to simply remove it properly.

WHMCS has not responded to any of the inquiries regarding this and I have no idea why. Bringing this issue up again so it is not forgotten.

If it involves the potential for them to sell something (like SSL certs), it's doubtful it will be removed or even made optional. They will tell us to open or vote in the feature requests graveyard section and that's that.

I don't think WHMCS will remove such forced implementation that may generate money to them.

At least until there is a strong-enough competitor operates.

But that shouldn't be a reason to stop our voices to be heard.
