Income Reports and Currencies

Recommended Posts

Hello,

In WHM I have 3 Currencies and now  some important reports  are very non-informative.

Income Forecast
Income by Product
Sales by Product

They show separate reports in different currencies. We have to manually change the currency.

Is it possible to make these reports with all currencies in one table (counted in main currency) ?

Maybe somebody already have such reports ?

Thanks.

Income Forecast would be difficult unless you know what the currency rates are going to be in the future - but if you can predict them, you shouldn't be using WHMCS, you should be lying on a beach somewhere! 🏖️

the simplest way you could do it would possibly be to base it on today's exchange rate, but that's going to fluctuate over the period you're forecasting, so it's not going to be an accurate forecast.

the problem with the other two reports is that they're querying tables that don't store exchange rates - neither the hosting or invoice tables will contain exchange rates, only the product amount - and not even the currency used as that is assigned to the client, not the order... possibly you could pull the exchange rates for each invoice from tblaccounts for your calculations, but this is more than a minor tweak to the reports!

the old Community Addons site used to have a lot of free reports in there, but none spring to mind that combined currencies in the way you want them to above.
