Logo Issues

Recommended Posts

HI

I'm trying to add the logo to my WHMCS client area, and updated the logo.png with my own logo with the same file name. but nothing happens, it displays my site name in text format in the logo section. Any help to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated. :)

Hi Ambarella,

If you have replaced the file at /assets/img/logo.png with your own file and it is spelt in lower case with no spaces etc try clearing your browser cache and reloading the page.

/public_html/templates/six/img

No, it should be placed in /public_html/assets/img

Hi,

Replace the WHMCS logo at /public_html/assets/img/logo.png with your own version, clear your browser cache then refresh the page and you should see it.

Hi Vox

There's no file called logo.png under /public_html/assets/img

however, there's a file called whmcs.png and i changed that with my logo with the same file name but still im getting the text logo on the site.

https://docs.whmcs.com/Version_6.0_Release_Notes#New_Location_for_Custom_Logo_Files

Quote

New Location for Custom Logo Files

In WHMCS 6.0, the /images/ directory is no longer used. Therefore any custom logo files which existed previously at one of the paths listed below needs to be moved to its' new location within the /assets/img/ directory.

/images/logo.png -> /assets/img/logo.png
/images/logo.jpg -> /assets/img/logo.jpg

WHMCS is expecting to use a logo.png or logo.jpg file... if you rename your logo to either, it should appear.

Ok That does the trick. Thanks Guys.

One more issue just came up as I just updated the WHMCS to its newest version, and now the twitter logo is not coming up on the index page under "Our Latest Tweets" ?

it's a known issue with v7.6 - the error was there in the first beta and never got fixed.

I posted an updated twitterfeed.tpl file in the thread below - just replace your file with that, and it should be working again..
