WHMCS John posted a file in V7.6.x Hotfixes
501 downloadsAn issue has been identified in the 7.6.1 release - published on 28th August, 2018 - that causes the domain synchronization task not to be performed at the scheduled time. This could result in domains remaining in Pending Transfer status, or keeping inaccurate expiration dates.
Can somebody tell exactly how domains are selected for the sync cron? The documentation at https://developers.whmcs.com/domain-registrars/domain-syncing/ states: I don't like to enable "Sync Next Due Date", due to some complications with my registrar module and the fact how we invoice our customers. But from my observation it seems that domains are only synced if they are close to their "due date", is that correct?
helo i face strange issue.. i am using latest whmcs 7.2.3 and the problem is when domain sync is running every 4 hours.. i check one of the domain status is "in sync" , but their domain expired date is not update. i have enable "debug logging" to confirm whether the API is working or not..and indeed it is working well.. since now, i dont have any idea why expired date column not update with the correct one which taken from API.. i have enable "Domain Sync Enabled" and "Sync Next Due Date" and disable "Domain Sync Notify Only" any idea?
I have WHMCS v6.3, As this was provided by my hosting company I can only update trough Softaculous but no longer see update 6.3.1 since v7 come out. Because of that I'm not sure if updating to 6.3.1 would fix my problem. PROBLEM: All of the sudden one of the crons stopped working (Domain Sync) and I have also stopped receiving emails with this cron. All other crons working without problem. I can see in Activity logs: "Domain Sync Cron: Starting" but nothing is happening after. How can I trace root of the problem?
