  1. Hi folks, At some point in the near future we'll be migrating the remainder of our in-house email accounts off-server to our external mail servers, and we're wondering about the best way to pipe in new messages for support departments. We found that using PHP piping has been the most reliable method and that having WHMCS access the mail accounts directly was very hit and miss. Is anyone aware of a good method for extending the PHP piping method to handle forwards from an external mail server? Thanks in advance 🙂 Cheers, Robert @ dotScot Domains
  2. Hi folks, During testing I've found that the checkout 'Existing Customer Login' functionality isn't working. The login details are correct and work on clientarea.php, but not on cart.php?a=checkout. We're using the Supreme Comparison template. Has anyone else experienced this? Cheers, Robert @ dotScot
  3. I've found that updating the 'company name' to the trading name and altering the copyright lines in the templates and email footer was the easiest way forward 🙂
  4. I got to the bottom of the SMTP issue and we're now using that instead of mail() 🙂
  5. I’ve put the literal value in the first field. The second field was pre-populated with the email address I put in general settings. There doesn’t appear to be any email templates which matches the messages I’m trying to adjust.
  6. Hi Nadal, all I'm seeing is an option for company name. If I change that it'll affect everywhere that uses that (such as copyright lines) where I need the company name (as opposed to the brand name) to be.
  7. Hi folks, Our web hosting service will be operating under the brand 'dotScot Web Hosting' (it took us weeks to come up with that 😂), so I've been customising all appropriate areas to reflect our brand name instead of our company name. After changing all of the 'from' names in the email templates section, I've noticed that the autoresponder and ticket update emails are coming through as {Company Name} {Support Dept} (eg dotScot Domains Sales). Would someone be able to point me to where I could change the sender name for these messages? Thanks in advance 🙂 Cheers, Robert @ dotScot
  8. I worked it out. There was an issue with the mail set up. It wasn't liking the SMTP details for some reason and switching to PHPMail() did the trick.
  9. Hi folks, I'm in the testing phase and I'm struggling to get payment data across to Stripe. Checking my Stripe dev log, the payment data never reaches them. Here's the entry from my error log: 2019/04/29 23:43:37 [error] 143116#143116: *1767 upstream timed out (110: Connection timed out) while reading response header from upstream, client: [MY LOCAL IP], server: [MY WHMCS HOSTNAME], request: "POST /cart.php?a=checkout HTTP/2.0", upstream: "https://[MY SERVER IP AND PORT]/cart.php?a=checkout", host: "[MY WHMCS HOSTNAME]", referrer: "https://[MY WHMCS HOSTNAME]/cart.php?a=checkout" I can't seem to find where the bottleneck is occurring. Could someone give me some further debugging advice so I might track this down? Thanks in advance 🙂 Cheers, Robert @ dotScot
  10. Hi folks, Upon adding our first server to WHMCS I can see the maximum number of accounts option. While this would be great if we were only offering packages with very similar resource allocations, that isn't the case. Is it possible to set the maximum based on the storage used on the server instead? Thanks in advance 🙂 Cheers, Robert @ dotScot
