  1. Hello, WHMCS experts. Desperately need your advice on an issue... We're running iDevAffiliate software on one domain. When an affiliate link is clicked, the user's IP address is tracked using the IPv6 protocol (along with a cookie). When the user is redirected to another domain on the same server to checkout through WHMCS (and is redirected to it again, after checkout), the second domain uses IPv4 protocol. Problem is, according to iDevAffiliate support, since the 1st domain uses IPv6 protocol and the 2nd uses IPv4, the IP addresses do not match, and thus prevent the affiliate software from tracking commissions. So my questions are: * Does WHMCS support IPv6 protocol? If so, how to enable or configure WHMCS for IPv6? * Is there some other way of addressing this issue of conflicting IPv4 vs. IPv6 protocols between the two domains, to solve this tracking problem? Thanks in advance for any suggestions, help, advice, etc.
  2. Fantastic tips, Kian. Thank you very much!
  3. I first posted the following to the Developers area of this community, before realizing it may be a better fit here... Hello, all WHMCS programmers and other experts! A question for you: Suppose I had a password protected membership site, and would like to add new hosting customers to it automatically when they sign up for hosting. Is there a plugin or method to automatically grant new hosting customers password access to a private members area, at the same time they purchase hosting through WHMCS? Is there a way to do this that would not require custom programming? I suspect this could be done using hooks in WHMCS, and wondering if there's already an "out of the box" solution for solving this challenge? Thank you in advance for any and all feedback, tips, and suggestions. Looking forward to them.
  4. Thanks, GoldenEye. That's an idea. Not automated but still a possibility.

  6. Hello. I'm new to reseller hosting, this community, and the WHMCS tool (which apparently is very useful for web hosting businesses). Question: What are some of the best education resources and tools you've come across for success with reseller hosting (of course, other than WHMCS and this community)? Thanks for any and all replies.
