  1. Hello nuffsaid, Try these steps to narrow down the problem. (1) Login to your WHMCS Admin (2) Create a test user account. (with an email not related to your WHMCS that you control) (3) Login to your WHMCS as that test user (4) Create a new support ticket as that test user > Does any errors occur while creating the ticket? (5) Logout of the test user account and login as Admin (6) Select the test user in Admin view and click on the "email" tab. > Does it show the support ticket email as sent? with a time/date stamp? *Once this all checks out as good then you have pretty much eliminated WHMCS as the problem. - So the problem will be in phpmail. Test this by switching to SMTP mail. - Login as WHMCS admin > SETUP > GENERAL SETTINGS > MAIL > change to SMTP and use a valid SMTP credentials. > Run the same test above and I am sure you will receive the support ticket email. - At that point you will have confirmed 100% the problem is with phpmail or your server configuration. Solving that is beyond this forum post but atleast you will be on the right path. I do not think WHMCS is the problem in this case. Best, Trevor-

  5. - What is Invoice Auditor for WHMCS? WHMCS Invoice Auditor helps you keep track of invoice changes and deletions. If you are a high volume WHMCS user then you already know the importance of keeping track of your invoices. Too many invoices to manually view means you just have to “trust that everything is ok”. Automated Auditing is a much better plan. Incorrect invoices cost money. See what you cannot see and VERIFY what you think you know.. is correct. - WHMCS Invoices WHMCS Invoicing is easily one of its strongest and most important features for managing your customer billing. Automated auditing becomes a very important part of your business as you begin to grow and cannot realistically keep up with changes in hundreds to thousands of invoices per month. There are many benefits to auditing your invoices so we have decided to make it very easy for WHMCS users with our free WHMCS Invoice Auditor Module. - Is WHMCS Invoice Auditor compatible with WHMCS v6.x ? > Yes, WHMCS 5.3.x and 6.x compatible (Select your correct version during registration) - What are the features of this module? This Free WHMCS module adds extra security and peace of mind by automatically auditing changes in your WHMCS invoices. For certain types of business this extra level of secure auditing is a mandatory step for high level certifications. – – Creates a duplicate of the Invoices table (the data is now safe from WHMCS automated actions or manual delete/edit in WHMCS) – – Updates the duplicated invoice table every hour, 6 hours, 12 hours, 24 hours, manually or any interval you select – – Using an internal invoice auditing feature it detects if an invoice is deleted or has been edited – – Selected admin or custom email address are emailed anytime an invoice deletion or edit is determined. (this is uncommon and should not normally occur in large numbers) – – Does NOT email on payment status change. (no need – WHMCS will already let you know when the invoice is paid) – – Optimized for large WHMCS invoice db tables -> successfully implemented and being used on WHMCS containing over 1.2 Million invoices and growing every day – – Free Plugin. Free Support and Upgrades – More features coming soon. It's Free, so is support Included? Yes, we support all of our modules Free or Paid. Login and open a support ticket with any questions. 6. WHMCS CloudFlare v1.0.6 is now released. Fixes css display compatibility with WHMCS v.6.1.1 https://whmcsfirewall.com/whmcs-cloudflare-module/
  7. In PHPMyAdmin (or similar) (1) Go to "tbladmins" (2) Find the row with your Admin username (3) Copy for a backup and then delete the contents from "authmodule" and "authdata". > Commit/Save (4) Clear your WHMCS template cache via FTP or SFTP. Clear your web browser cache. *#4 is not really needed but it is good practice when doing anything like this so you should do it. (5) Login with no 2Factor Best, Trevor~
  8. Hello Keithd77, A sub domain is the only place you want to install your WHMCS. (Security point of view) This fact is then intensified x1000 since your website is wordpress. Your wordpress website and its many plugins are much more likely to be hacked than your WHMCS. But once wordpress and therefore (in many cases) the cPanel account and all its sub domain and sub-directories are compromised. So with that knowledge what you do to start out is very simple. Let's assume cPanel since it is most popular. 1. Using WHM create a cPanel account for your main website. (yoursite.com) 2. Using WHM create another SEPARATE cPanel account for the sub domain (aka WHMCS) https://clients.yoursite.com 3. No special tricks needed cPanel will do what is needed for you. 4. Now you have one set of credentials to upload and interact with files for your wordpress website and a totally different set of credentials for your WHMCS files. 5. If your wordpress website gets compromised the hacker will not be able to easily copy/edit or delete all your files as they easily could if sub-domain or sub-directory were under the same cPanel account as your wordpress website. 6. And customers browsing the internet do not know or care that they are not in the same cPanel account as their web browser loads https://yoursite.com and https://clients.yoursite.com exactly the same as if they were under the same cPanel account. Hope that answers your question and helps you get started off on a secure foot! Best, Trevor~

  10. Hello JFOC, Congrats, I see you have discovered the "Visual configuration.php" file editor feature. (very useful for those who do not know!!) "A Full WHMCS Administrator" is the only one that can read that or access the WHMCS Firewall module at all for that matter.. Your "Staff" (Aka outsourced support, customer service, or people who have no business having FULL access to your WHMCS) should (Must) for many many reasons be created their own WHMCS roles (which will not have access to WHMCS Firewall, your payment gateway settings in WHMCS? your database backup and download feature in WHMCS? etc. Please let me know if you have any additional questions. Best, Trevor-

  12. Hello easyhosting, Sorry if you took my reply personal. It was not my intention. I am not sure what $20 gets you in the UK.. but I can promise you it gets "almost nothing" in the USA. So clearly I am not "trying to get more money by getting to install it". I will not be "Getting Rich" from $20 installs.. on the contrary actually. There are just certain things that cannot be done easily unless you are very experienced in it is all I am saying.. I did not make that rule, it is just life. It is also the reason why you are able to make money as a web host.. If everyone thought they could "do it themselves" then.. why pay some else for hosting so they can "Get Rich" off me..? But again, (and I really mean it), Thank you for trying WHMCS Firewall and I appreciate your initial feedback. Best, Trevor~
  13. Thanks for the follow up reply easyhosting, I am not surprised by your outcome, Since I see you did not register or login to the online User's Guide website... This Security module is definitely a "I have time to read or will pay for the installation + configuration" nothing in-between.. Sort of like when the "check engine" light comes on in your car.. You do not grab a box of tools and presume turning all the bolts round and round in the engine will magically fix it.. Again, seriously though. "Thank You" for trying out the module and giving your feedback. It is not a security module meant for everyone, that is for sure. You only get out what you put into Security and not even reading the User's Guide.. Well. Thanks for the update on your experience. Best, Trevor~
